The Lovers of Christ youth group in Saint Marks is amazing. The youth group has taught me alot through out the years and brought me closer to God. On Friday nights we start the night out in prayer. We sometimes would go around and have everyone pray. Those are the nights that have made me become comfortable with praying out loud. After we pray, we would have a quick spiritual discussion before we go out. For our Friday nights we usually go out to eat, do community service, or just chill at church watching a movie. Our servants at Saint Mark are really cool. Not only do we have fun together, but when it comes down too it, we can be serious. The servants are awesome people to talk too if you dont feel comfortable talking to your parents. On Sunday we have general session, then we split up to go into our classes. In general session we sing songs and end in prayer. In Sunday school, we have talks that teach us alot about how we should live our lives as Christains. We also have alot of involvement in the lesson. Lovers of Christ is a wonderful youth group and I’m happy they prepared me for my life outside the church.
